Armin is Home!

F 8/21 update:
Exactly one month ago this ultramarathon started; today he was discharged to come home.  Whoo hoo! Still not sure as to what mile we’re on…
His progress even shocked his  ICU nurses and neuro doc. We got to see them yesterday and it was so cool to see their reactions to him walking in the unit where he had been. It was super heartwarming. They were so excited.
To no surprise to anyone, all his therapists said he’s a people pleaser so he would never tell them no to doing/trying something. Probably why his progress has been so great. 💪🏼
There’s still a ways to full recovery; still no working, occupational, cognitive and physical therapy, minor life style changes and definitely keeping his blood pressure down.
We did find out that there are no other signs of aneurysms and his risk of having other strokes are the same as before, this didn’t increase his risk. 🙏🏻 He follows up with the neurologist in 3 months. However he’s planning on being on the golf course before then! ⛳️
He’s “DeFYed” a lot of odds with the help of this village. Our sincerest appreciation and gratitude to all of you. 🥰
Prayers, vibes, jujus still welcomed!
Much love 💕 and gratitude 🙏🏻!  Kristy
