Cancer Doesn’t Discriminate
Brandi, a full of life 14-year-old, recently learned she has a type of cancerous tumor that arises from the bone. It is called Ewing’s Sarcoma. Brandi’s tumor is localized in her leg. She started chemo treatments in the beginning of July and she will have surgery to remove the tumor near the end of September. But for Brandi, that will not mark the end of her treatment plan. Brandi will resume chemo treatments for another 14 weeks after surgery.
As you can imagine Brandi and her family’s world has been turned upside down. But in all of the uncertainty, Brandi is handling her diagnosis very well. She is amazingly strong. She is a fighter.
For Brandi’s family it’s a long emotional and financial road ahead. For your sacrifice to help lift Brandi and her family up, I offer thanks and many blessings to you.
